Job Details

  • As a Senior Workday Developer at Athos Systems, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex Workday integrations that support critical business operations. You will serve as a technical lead on Workday projects, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders including HRIS, payroll, and IT teams. This position requires deep expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, and other integration tools, along with strong problem-solving and mentoring capabilities.

    You will play a pivotal role in ensuring integration performance, scalability, compliance, and alignment with business needs, while fostering innovation and knowledge sharing across the team.

    • Design, develop, and maintain complex Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, and Workday Extend.

    • Lead end-to-end integration projects: from requirements gathering to deployment and post-production support.

    • Act as a Workday technical SME, collaborating with HRIS, payroll, and IT teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations to ensure performance, data accuracy, and compliance.

    • Establish and enforce best practices in Workday development, version control, and documentation.

    • Review and improve existing integrations, workflows, and business processes.

    • Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge-sharing initiatives.

    • Stay current with Workday platform updates and emerging integration capabilities.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    • 6 - 10 years of hands-on Workday development experience with strong proficiency in Studio, EIB, XSLT, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services.

    • Deep understanding of Workday HCM data model and security framework.

    • Experience with Workday Extend and advanced reporting (Composite, Matrix, Advanced Reports) is a strong plus.

    • Proven ability to handle complex projects with attention to performance, scalability, and reliability.

    • Strong analytical and debugging skills with an eye for optimization and automation.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

    • Workday certifications (e.g., Integration Core, Studio, Extend) are highly desirable.
